While all of the Louisiana Krewes work very hard to produce quality parades, in the black community there is no Mardi Gras without the Krewe of Zulu. Their theme coconuts, black and gold umbrellas, and unbelievable costumes is worth the wait each year. Coming off a huge Zulu Ball which included The O’Jays, Bell Biv Devoe, Jaheim, Mia X, and many others, the Zulu Social Aid Club waits every year for Fat Tuesday to shut the city down proper!
